Mind Magic

Mind Magic is probably the most common of the higher talents. Also known as psionics, practicioners of Mind Magic are called telepaths, psionicists, or just Mind Mages.

Psionicists deal with a variety of mental abilities such as telepathy, mind control, memory restoration and alteration, partitions, causing pain and pleasure, mind reading, mental attacks, mind shields, trickery and deception.

Mental combat tends to be a whole different ballgame than non-psionic Elkandu tend to be used to. While a purely Security shield will suffice for mental protection, a proper mind shield will tend to be more effective against experienced telepaths. A good mental shield is both complex and strong; simple shields are the mark of an amateur, although they can be useful if rushed.

The acknowledge best telepath among the Elkandu is Angelita Castrani, although Jami Trevyr is a close second. Other well-known telepaths include Ishane, Azale, and Rhuan.
