Lightning Magic is probably the most useful elemental talent for direct attack.
Electromancers are capable of producing bolts of lightning, thunderstorms, and various other forms of electricity. This can wreck havoc on anyplace reliant on electronic equipment. With extremely high skill levels, an electromancer may be able to influence electronics without damaging it. This takes quite a good deal of practice and experience to do properly, however, and while it is theoretically possible, there are no known mages capable of it.
Although many of the High Elkandu have at least some ability with Lightning, not many are inborn to it. Notable Lightning Mages include Silver the Great, Lexen, and Zelen.
